Having completed its 11 minute 5 mile journey from Stratford with one intermediate stop at Lea Bridge 2H09 the 16.00 ex Stratford is seen at Tottenham Hale 03/06/85 where it will stand in the down platform before returning back south to Stratford as service 2H14 at 16.26. The origins of this short service go back to the days when the train would have turned left at Tottenham South Junction to call at South Tottenham before taking the now closed Palace Gates branch which lost its passenger service in December 1964. Adrian Nicholls.
